There are many, many more worthy people than Snatcher, why aren't they being recognised? Newton, Bell, Shakespeare......they only time they (have been/will get) recognised is on a postage stamp! Then again, Snatcher on a postage stamp will give many people the opportunity to kiss her goodbye and thump her flat

Maybe you'd rather have a Harold Wilson day or James Callaghan day. Maybe even a Tony Blair day or even Gordon Brown day although I don't honestly think any of them would be considered worthy of anything except how not to run a country.
What ever they call it it's still going to be the August Bank holiday.
Can anyone remember 'Coat-a-sheep-in-raspberry-jam' week? Didn't think so.
Maybe the day shouldnt be named after ANY politician. That would suit me just fine. I cant see this bill going through at all....

Sids, it's no problem, i also make jokes about her and got screwed over by the cow's policies in the 80's too. i know things aren't rosy with her but i just wanted to make my point about the ship, that's all

If anything is going to sway me to vote yes Having a Maggie day would certainly help.
The more we can distance ourselves from the $%^$£%"!! the better.
