Why does Ian Lang, who used to be some kind of Tory MP and was chucked out in 1997 along with Malcolm Rifkind and Michael Portillo, feel it is his place to comment on Scottish Independendence? Have these useless deadbeats who appear to have mysteriously relocated to the House of Lords, declared an interest? - ie; that given independence they would no longer be subsidised by the Scottish taxpayer?
Westminster MPs and Peers would lose their salaries, expenses, allowances, pensions and perks (billions of £s of taxpayers' money) and should not be allowed to try and influence the vote.
