Van driver sustained serious injuries
The accident involved a southbound petrol tanker and a northbound Fort Transit van.
The van’s male driver was trapped in his vehicle and had to be cut free by firemen.
He was conveyed by ambulance to Raigmore Hospital at Inverness where he is being treated for serious injuries.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the accident and they can make contact on the 101 number.
