Will you be doing Airsoft as well? Or can we use airsoft guns in the games? I have a few GBBs, and a AEG.

Cheers,

I had an email from them sayin there was red tape to cut through...not a very well laid out email though, hardly professional, more like a 10 year old kid....in fact that is an insult to 10 year old kids.....it was worse

Given that it is an aohell email addy lacking in website content then you could be right - Red tape for a paintball area?? Are the old Kalashinkovs slow in coming in?

Do post the email reply that you got :D

Meanwhile, the paint ball idea seems a whizzy way to get tourists in, so if anyone fancies it, then it sounds fun :)

Personlly I prefer Airsoft, much better guns, and a lot cheaper to run!

This is the email txt as I got it:

should be soon but just getting through some red tape , and then we will be advertising.

thanks

That is cut 'n paste from it.....

Hello Riffman...

They seem a tad far away unless there is a local branch:

3 Chalfont House, Chalfont Station Road
Little Chalfont, Amersham
Bucks. HP7 9PS

Or I googled wrongly?

That address belongs to Airsoft Armoury, I reckonised it immediately! http://www.airsoftarmoury.co.uk/

If it is them, then I will be very surprised as it is an Airsoft Company not a paintball one, they run two shops down in England.

For a decent Scottish retailer of Airsoft kit go here: http://www.airsoftscotland.com

Just got a friend to do a trace, the email came from Central USA......not much chance of it being real then...

Too bad I really wanted a paintball/Airsoft club up here.

hi tried to set up club but public liability is the killer and people who showed interest wernt prepared to pay £50 per year membership to cover the insurance costs
so no club sorry

For the disappointed among you I have heard that paintball is starting up in the county. As far as I can gather it will be in the Reiss/Keiss area starting early this summer.

Got another reply:

Hi there i just read your reply on caithness.org .Well you won't be using the site then as i don't take kindly to being slagged off . The site is be held up by health and safety and i will be open when i get through all the safety issue so that when it does open it will stay open and be safe for all that use it and i won't be opening a site that does not comply with the rules laid down by the paintball feridation. This is the main reason that most fail or don't even get off the ground.
