Accused kneed constable twice in groin and bit him
A WICK woman has admitted kneeing a policeman in the groin and biting him.
Leigh McEwan, 30, pleaded guilty to the assault when she appeared from custody at Wick Sheriff Court, today. Her case was continued for a background report.
The incident, in the town’s Murchison Street on New Year’s Day, occurred after she was arrested for damaging a car there – she also admitted vandalism – by kicking it. McEwan, of 51 Murchison Street, Wick, twice kneed Constable Lee Milner and drew blood when she bit him on his right forearm.
McEwan, a first offender, was granted bail and will return to court for sentence on January 24 when the court will hear further details about the incidents.
