Wick man accused of causing bus driver's death
WICK man has been accused of causing the death of a Caithness bus driver by driving dangerously.
The accused, Andrew Matheson Sinclair, 32, made a brief appearance on petition in private at Wick Sheriff Court. He made no plea or declaration and was released on bail pending further inquiries.
The charge follows a collision on the main Wick-Watten road on April 1, this year involving the Stagecoach bus and a 4 x 4 pickup. The bus driver, Les Davison, was 64 and lived at Toftingall, Watten.
