Anti Smoking Police

The English are to spend £29.5 million on enforcing the no smoking ban to be introduced in July. That is a whole lotta wonga. How much did Eire or Scotland spend when they introduced similar legislation? The landlords and clientele that I spoke to in hostelries both here and over the water said that there was no problems, everyone just accepted it and started getting wet whenever they wanted a fag. Does anyone have any figures?
