Why don't you tell us what YOU think first, thus we can see what angle you are taking before commenting?

This tawdry organisation made a net surplus in 2012 of £252.6 million and remains completely unaccountable to anybody for any of their actions/mistakes/investments/salaries/perks and pensions...or indeed, anything at all. The supervising body, the Crown Estate Commissioners, is yet another unelected and unaccountable quango drawn from the ranks of the unelected and unaccountable officials of the Crown Estate. It owns 50% of the seabed and foreshore around the UK and can pretty much do what it likes. The Scottish government has asked for powers over this organisation to be devolved to Holyrood, but was told by Westminster last year that it wasn't necessary!!!!!!

That's something that has been bugging me "The Crown Estates," have always been a law unto themselves. it's a historical thing ,m they might not decide to hand over oil/gas revenues to Scotland.
