Female cyclist airlifted to hospital after Old Bank Road collision
YESTERDAY'S road traffic collision at Golspie involving a van and a pedal cycle, occurred on the A9 at Old Bank Road.
As a result of the collision the 38-year-old female cyclist sustained serious injuries and was conveyed by air ambulance to Raigmore Hospital ,Inverness.
A three year old child who was a passenger on the pedal cycle and the driver of the van were uninjured.
The A9 was closed for 5 hours whilst officers from North Divisional Road Policing Unit carried out investigation at the locus.
Police Scotland are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact them on 101.
