Router with USB slot

Looking at new modem/routers, I see many now have a USB port (for sharing printers primarily). If I were to insert a USB loaded with songs to one of these new routers, would/should my internet radio be able to play them?

Works on BT Homehub as u suggest so prob works on other routers. Google your Router name + USB for instructions.
Tends to be USB1.1 speeds but be fast enough for music. You will have to map it as a network drive likely.
