Stay-out-of-Caithness-ban meantime, for alleged shoplifter
AN Inverness woman, accused of shop-lifting and police assault, in
Caithness has been banned from the county pending her trial next
year. Naomi Sturrock appeared from custody, at Wick Sheriff Court, today, and denied
stealing two gift sets from the Wick branch of Boots, on Friday, and candles
from the local Poundstretcher store, and the assaults at the police station - while on bail.
These allege that the 34-year-old bit P.C. Emnma Brown on her hand and kicked fellow officer
Michael Howitt.
Sturrock, of 6 Millburn Court, Inverness, was granted bail with the
special county ban condition, and will return to court for her trial on March 6.
