Really sorry to be the bearer of bad news like this, but there was a dead black cat with a small amount of white markings in the road at Haster last night when I was driving home. It was dark so I didn't get a great look but seemed to have white on the front legs and underneath, it looked like it didn't suffer when it was hit.
I stopped and moved it off to the side of the road so it wasn't hit again. I found it right, a few hundred yards outside Haster on the West side and left it off to the side of the wick bound carriageway. Very sorry but I was working all day today otherwise I would have taken to the vet to see if it was micro-chipped. Would have posted on here last night but the forum seemed to be down.
