Windows 8.1

immediately regretted it. I have lost access to some of my programmes. All I want now is to revert to Windows 8 but I don't know how to change it. Can anyone tell me how I can reset the computer to an earlier date as the option does not seem to be there.

Any suggestions will be gratefully received.

From what I understand the only way back is to backup your files, & do a factory restore back to Windows 8 and then restore your files back onto the computer again :(.
