Is this a stray? Old wick area

I've been asked to post this by a friend who lives in the Oldwick area of Wick.

There is a very friendly black cat- quite a mature cat and all black, hanging around the doors at Swanson Drive. Is he a stray, needing food and shelter, or is some distraught owner looking for him?
