Does anyone have this and, if so, what do you think of it?

I was going to get Freeview but this looks better. As opposed to the monthly charge for Sky you just pay a one off fee of £150.

I have read that Grampian is going to close the analogue system in 2009?

Not sure whether it would be best to go for something like Sky or buy a Digital TV?

Any thoughts or advice would be much appreciated.

Well liz if you get the freesat you can at any point opt to get full sky channels at anytime . You do get extra channels free with the freesat over the freeview boxes but most are shopping channels and the like.
But then again a freeview box is only about £39 saving £111 on freesat.
So really depends on if you may want to upgrade to full sky at some point in the future.

ps: If you pick freesat try here

http://satellitecentre.co.uk/item--Freesat-Package--freesat as it is only £109

Thanks Dali! :D

I'm going to go for Freeview as I'm not really bothered about extra channels. Just want a better picture.

You have to watch with freeview boxes that you have a good strong signal or else you might not get all of the channels.

I'm getting Colin Chessor to install it so I get a new aerial as well. :D
