Walker taken to hospital after emergency
A MAN was rescued last night after he accidently fell from cliffs near Wick while out for a walk.
A full-scale search was mounted involving a helicopter, the local lifeboat and coastguards after the alarm was raised.
The casualty was lifted on a stretcher to the cliff-top and was taken the short distance. by ambulance to Caithness General Hospital for an assessment of his injuries.
