A WICK man is facing a charge of serious assault.
John William Harper, 32, made no plea or declaration during a
brief, private, appearance at the town's sheriff court, yesterday, and was remanded
in custody, by Sheriff Andrew Berry, pending further inquiries.
The alleged assault, on a man, is said to have taken place, in Wick, on August 24.
