I saw this on facebook Maciek, I thought it was wonderful, I shared it and it has been picked up by my friends in Germany - many of whom are going to be visiting next year to do some history shows with us - I hope it excited them enough so that they want to visit Caithness -i shall certainly be encouraging them to do so and going with them if I possibly can to gush nauseatingly about how beautiful caithness is....

Maciek, I hope you don't mind but i shared it with one of the guys who does "Astronomy Picture of the Day". They love this sort of stuff, and yours is as spectacular as anything they've shown of noctilucent clouds in particular.

Thanks again guys and thanks to George Brims for proposing this short movie for APOD (Astronomy Picture of the Day) run by NASA, it became APOD today, I guess that's a bit of publicity for Caithness. http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap130819.html

Well, maybe they didn't respond to your email but they have left message in comment section below my clip on my YouTube channel, and on their forum clearly described you as a person who suggested my footage for APOD.

"Hello! Your video has been suggested as an APOD (A Picture of A Day) and has been posted on APOD Asterisk forum in 'Found images' section. It is credited to you.

Regards,

Joanna

Needless to say, I missed it again so many thanks for the video footage.
Please check that you are being given credit for this fantastic capture. A few of the sites I've viewed dont mention you.

Good luck with the BBC and don't sell yourself short. Make the most of this opportunity Maciek, all best.

Maciek - you're a star! I'm getting feedback that you are making science accessible in the most spectacular way - I feel a whole new generation of skywatchers coming on. Thank you for your inspiration and industry. Oh, and you came over very pleasantly and naturally on the telly!
