Caithness is a very flat place.
So here is a very flat web site!
I would be in favour of attracting these people to Caithness. It would boost local employment and, reading some of the threads on the org, I am inclined to believe, there is already a core of believers in the county.
So let's give a big Caithness welcome to :

Caithness is not the flattest place in the country.

That is down to an obscure kilometre square in East Anglia which is probably below sea level into the bargain.

There are various anoraks (sorry people) who are obsessed by the relative height and topography of the landscape. Not content with clambering all over it they also categorise everything and assemble authoritative lists of features, so this how you get Munros (3000 feet) but then Corbetts, Grahams, Donalds and even Marilyns although I think by that time you're down to about 150 feet. Try Googling for the "Angry Corrie" magazine a great insight to the genre.

I once met a guy on the Cairngorm plateau with an oxygen cylinder protruding from his rucksack which seemed a tad extreme for the altitude. On enquiry he was going to dive in the highest fresh water lochan in the country which couldn't have been more head height deep anyway!
