Sorry to have to post this as not a nice subject but if it were my pet i'd like to know. OH spotted a cat lying at side of the road on his way home and went back to check if it was alive but unfortunately it wasn't. It's a black cat with possibly longer fur, not wearing a collar it's on A882 Wick - Thurso road just the Thurso side of the hump back railway bridge aprox 3/4 miles from turning to Inverness..... :(
