I am researching the involvement of people from the Highlands/Islands who were involved in the Spanish Civil War 1936-39.
Any information at all may be useful.
To date I have the names only of:
Alick or Alex Miller, born 1915, West End, Wick.
Also
Hugh Mackay [or Munro, or 'Blucher'] of Bettyhill, later Edinburgh.
Maybe there are more, I hope orgers can help this little bit of interesting research, which will hopefully be published later this year......
