Black Cat With No Tail in Castletown

This is a long shot really, but if anybody in Castletown (Garden Centre end of Castletown) knows the owner or even if the above cat has an owner, can they please PM me and let me know. It is quite a distinctive cat, I do'nt know the age, but it's not a kitten, and it's the only one I have seen in this area without a tail! I would be grateful for any information, many thanks.

Just a quick update - the cat is now with the SSPCA, he wandered in yesterday, and was rather poorly. I managed to keep hold of him until they arrived, much to the consternation of my other two cats!!. Many, many thanks to the ladies from the SSPCA, and to all who PM'd me with valuable information regarding the cat, thankfully, he is on the mend now.
