Just received the Haynes manual for my car and that Haynes guy knows his onions.
80 foot pound torque settings for the wheels..... I'm living the dream!

Haynes is up there with shakespeare and Harold Robbins.

the Haynes manuals you buy now are just a glorified windscreen washers guide. The manuals of old showed you how to strip parts to the last nut and bolt. You could strip and engine/gearbox completely and do proper rebuilds but now you are lucky if they tell you what a spanner is!
