Totally agree Kevin, fantastic turnout.

Despite the thick mist, (last year it was rain) Wick Gala opening night with the floats....... ROCKED!

Was really impressed by the Stewards accompanying each float. I think that was the Gala committee multi-tasking, so very well done to them all.

Really hope they get the support to encourage all their efforts .....:D

yeah, totally agree! great atmosphere and lots of effort put into the floats, parades and costumes....still not quite the same effect as when i was but a wee bairn but kudos for all involved :)

Traditionally its known as Wick Gala Week, the first Saturday night always starts with a float / walker parade through the town, so its not "really" a carnival, ok a play on words, but its part of a Gala Week.
