Coming up to Tongue for 2 week holiday from Monday 29th July 2013. I have always wanted to try canoeing/ kayaking. Are there any reasonably priced opportunities within driving distance. I am reasonably fit but am a complete novice and would have to hire safety equipment. mwdouglas@blueyonder.co.uk (mwdouglas@blueyonder.co.ukThan)

I don't think there are established kayaking businesses around Tongue but I would be happy to be proven wrong. Anyway, Tongue and surrounding area is magical, enjoy your holiday

You could try asking one of the hotels in Tongue, I don't think there is any kayaking business in the area but they may know someone willing to hire to you, there is people in the area whom Kayak.
