Manager decides against Queen of the South job
Wick Academy manager Barry Wilson has decided to remain with the club after opting out of the running for a similar post with Queen of the South the club he previously played for.Wilson, rumoured to have been offered the post, said it was a difficult decision. The fact that his work at Wick was not complete and the distance involved from his retail business were cited as the main factors.
The news will come as a great relief to the Scorries and their supporters who were delighted with Wilson's progress in the far north, guiding the club to their best ever finish in the league table - third place.
