Watch out for ticks in long grass as so far this season I know of 3 people to get an attached tick this season.
I was one of the people and it was at the school sports day in Watten I got mine!
Tick hooks are about £2ish from petstores and vets etc..
1 and a half turns anticlockwise and the little bloodsucker is removed!
Watch out in longish grass where sheep have been espesh after rain and shake out clothing before returning home from walking on the hills etc.
It was a mild winter so there is a lot of the bloodsuckers around!
You can frontline the cat and dog , but, unfortunatly not the kids!
Anyone else had one so far this year?
