I believe in York it is still legal to shoot a Scotsman with a bow and arrow from the city walls during the hours of darkness.

In London every taxi driver should have a bale of hay and a bag of corn in his boot.

In parts of England a policeman is obliged to walk in the gutter not on the pavement and it is illegal to drive to church on a Sunday, you must walk.

These are all local bylaws I have read or heard of, I don't have any sources on the web to verify them nor do I intend to look for any, if they aint true they aint true.
