I feel he should of had a longer sentence, he has received just over a month for each attack (which it is) on children who were unable to defend themselves againts a sick evil adult. If he happens to die during a longer sentence then so be it.

it certainly makes you wonder what is going on in the judges heads, when they give out pathetic sentences like this [disgust]

Look on the bright side, he may yet die in jail.

I think his sentence is being reviewed as the Attorney General has received some complaints that the sentence is not long enough.

I also think the judge should be looked into for giving such a lenient sentence however I think I read on the link it may of been the only option as the sentence given was the one he would of received if he had been sentenced when he committed the attacks ?

I find it very "interesting" that the people who have said that the sentence is long enough, have not give their reasons why an adult who has admitted interfering with children as young as 9 years old, only deserves a 15 month sentence

It (the paedophile )deserves a far longer sentence and if that means him dying in jail while serving out his sentence then so be it scumbag

yes and if the biggest, dirtiest, roughest con, takes a liking to him at shower times and gives him a taste of his own medicine, even better still

I misread the title of this thread as "Should Stuart Young die in Jail?" I know many posters don't get on with the schoolboy, but giving him a life sentence for running a business that opposes windmills seems a bit harsh - even to me lol!

On the other hand, Stuart Hall's sentence seemed somewhat lenient. Having said that, I haven't been following the details of the case.

He has been charged with interfering with children...therefore hanging him wouldnt be a strong enough a sentence ...and as for what he got is an insult to his victims as its not fitting the crimes he committed.
15 months...shoplifting not wrecking lives forever...

He has been charged with interfering with children one of which was just 9 yrs old, which he has fully admitted

...therefore hanging him wouldnt be a strong enough a sentence ...and as for what he got is an insult to his victims as its not fitting the crimes he committed.
15 months...shoplifting not wrecking lives forever... yes and what does it say to any other victims, who don't know whether to come forward and tell someone

I was deliberately understating the case for a longer sentence for Stuart Hall - because I don't want to be mistaken for an eejit from the Daily Wail.

One must behave in a calm, controlled manner if one wishes to influence the judiciary. Wailing like a Wail reader gets you nowhere.
