The head of HIE has told MFR he and his counterparts at the Council and Nuclear Decommissioning Authority will take personal responsibility for work to replace jobs going at Dounreay. Two and a half thousand posts will disappear over the next 25 years as the site is cleared. A Taskforce made up of the enterprise network , Highland Council and the NDA will also employ a co-ordinator to oversee the work to find new jobs. But HIE chief executive Sandy Cumming said he's not devolving responsibility for making it work.
