I like living and shopping in Thurso, Thurso is a pretty town with it's riverside and coastal walks, so what the shops don't stock everything and stay open late, you make allowances for this. We have good quality Butchers, Bakers and Fishmongers, 3 Supermarkets and loads of small independent business's, plenty of choice, internet access, rail, road and an airport in Wick if we want to shop further afield.

I think you can extend that statement to the whole county , it's nice it's quiet , it's generally friendly, there's lots of lovely river, open, coastal and forrestry walks, there are many independent companies that operate in local, national and international markets and all the rest is true too - good quality butchers and fishmongers - bakery deliveries......fish vans..... good transportation links and a decent ice cream shop!
