Does anyone know whether there are any classes on in the Thurso area at present for Scottish Dancing, Strip the Willow, basic waltzing, Gay gordons etc, suitable for Hogmanay, weddings, and any other chance to dance the light fantastic;-)

Go along to a burns supper this weekend - I'm sure someone will be happy to teach you how to dance. :)

Scottish Country Dancing

Members of the Thurso Scottish Country Dance Club meet to dance reels, jigs and strathspeys, with the emphasis on friendly informality and enjoyment. Visitors and new members are always welcome. You don't have to know the dances, since instructions are always given beforehand.
