What kind of something are you trying to open, and were you able to open that something in the past? ?

Thanks for your interest in my problem Oddquine. At the moment I can't exactly say what and when. However the next time it happens I'll be more observant and perhaps get back to you for some help. As the saying goes "Watch this space" !!! Scaraben

I go to the forum, click Tech Support, go to "Blueivy's reply to a message I left "MY Computer won't close down" I see "Chat with me" I click on it, then find the "Home page" at the bottom of that page I see "Questions answered" when I click it...............I JUST GET THAT DREADED MUSICAL CHORD AGAIN !! but it won't open.

If you mean that when you get to the page AFTER you click Chat with me (http://www.smallbusiness-it.com/site/show/chat_with_me_now_free_support) and click the button Start Chatting Now then the page that is linked to that button is a pop-up chat window. You may have pop-ups turned off.

If you are using Internet Explorer 6 onwards you should see a little bar at the top of the window saying that pop-ups have been disabled but you can click it to enable them either temporarily or permanently for my domain. When you enable it and click the Start Chatting Now button again it should allow the windows to pop-up.
