Does anyone know of a local computer shop in Caithness as I am looking for an Ethernet extension cable, tried calling Jek tec but their number is no longer in use and their mobile goes to answer phone so not sure if they are no longer in Business.

You would be better with a longer cable rather than an extension. You could try Poundstretchers, Tesco or Factory shop in Wick, they sell all sorts of cables, NOS in Back Bridge street, Wick might have something or what would probably just be as quick is to buy off Ebay. I bought 3x 10 metre cables for £1.99 each with free postage. Arrived next day

Argos in Wick should have a few patch cables available for pick up. To be honest though you get screwed on the price buying moulded ethernet cables. Ideally you're looking for someone you can make you one to measure and not resell you something premade.
