Links to other websites: is it allowed?

There's a few sites I thought, within context of this net community, people would appreciate. However, as I'm clearly too lazy to read the rules, could someone from the admin/moderating team indicate a simple yes or no?

There is no such thing as a clear yes or no, you'll have to read the rules. :D

All of the rules apply we have apply to all linked sites, if you don't know what the rules are then you wont know if you can link to it safely or not.
