Well done ex Reds Rafa and Torres, both sorely missed at Anfield

Rafa for Everton is surely more likely than Kenny Dalglish for Everton.

Sadly, there were no Scots in last night's winning Blues side. Mind you, there were only 3 English!

Any thoughts on who will be the next Blues manager? That question applies to both sets of Blues!

There are three lots of Blues looking for new managers, you omitted Man City.
Portugese Gob for Chelsea
Malaga guy for Man City
Martinez for Everton but Duncan Ferguson as an outsider

Mea culpa - I forgot about "the noisy neighbours".

I can't argue with your suggestions.

Martin O'Neill is also out of work, as is Alex McLeish!

Both of which could only dream of the Man City, Chelsea or Everton jobs.

O'Neil for Wigan and McLeish for a Scottish team, he will not get a PL job in England again

Both of which could only dream of the Man City, Chelsea or Everton jobs.Probably, but McLeish might be viewed by some as a like for like replacement for Moyes, and O'Neill had a good record until Sunderland - it's not so long since his glory days at Celtic Park.

Could someone pass me some straws - I can't quite reach them!

I just don't rate McLeish at all.
With the current, say last 20 years, state of Scottish football anyone could manage Celtic/Rangers and be assured of winning a couple of trophies. Walter Smith was a prime example of this, good in Scotland but could not cut it in England

You are only as good as your last job, Harold Shipman was once a respected doctor.
Everton would be mad to touch Mcleish.

Dick Advocat aside, i would agree with you.
Walter Smith, fail.
Martin O Neil, fail
Mcleish, fail.
Sctrachen, fail.
Le Guen, fail but also bucks the theory as he won nothing.
Barnes, fail but also bucks the theory as he won nothing.
Tony Mowbry, failing.
