Taken from ross shire journal

Congregate at Dalmore Distillery 8am. Depart at 10am to Alness High St. to Skiach junction, to Ardross, turn right to Inchindown to Scotsburn road. Then to Dornoch Bridge and head for Edderton, Aultnamain, Ardgay, Bonar and Lairg. After Lairg to Tongue,Syre,Kinbrace and Melvich reaching Thurso where they will park by the harbour and the Park Hotel overnight.
