Facebook charging me for a message!

Just tried to send a message to someone I know and facebook want to bill me 69pence... has anybody heard of this... try it yourself find someone who is not on your friends list and type a message, you don't have to send it just see if you would be billed if you did... Angel

Wish I *could* check - Facebook has decided to suspend my account for 24 hours due to 'suspicious activity at your IP address'! My husband, who logs into his account from the same IP address, can access his fine.

Yes, some of my American friends have been charged $ 1 for every message sent to people out of their friends lists. It's the new policy.

But oh well, another reason to add to the other 1564 ones and to delete the account on Facebook....
