Does anyone have connection to this family?
James Bruce and Jean (Jane) Wares were married 9 Jul 1813 at East Clyth. Their children were (as best I can tell): Alexander (1814-1815), James (1815), William (1818), Alexander (1820), David (1823), George (1826), Anne (1826), Jean (1827) and Catherine (1835).
I believe this is the Anne Bruce who married seaman Alexander Miller in 1851. George Bruce (her brother) was also a seaman.
