Caithness Rockers "The Howlin' Gaels" will be airing on two Radio Stations on both sides of the globe in January. A track or tracks from a Gaels album will be played on 23rd January on "Radio Tuzla" an independent radio station in Bosnia Herzegovena in a show called "The Jeans Generation". Also in January the band will be aired on Oklahoma University's Public Radio Network KGOU on Jim "Hardluck" Johnson's weekend blues show. When I get an exact date for this I will post it! Both stations can be listened to online

From Bosnia to the USA, pretty extreme but all airplay is good news!!

Pretty good, it just finished, gaels had their own section within the show and got four songs played, strange choice, they surprised me by playing Blue Ocean, one of my gaels favorites but I know the band don't like it, i told them it was good but they wouldn't listen :) They played...

1. Too Hot Too Soon
2. Blue Ocean
3. Rockin Down The Lonely Road
4. I Will Light The Fuse

16 minutes or thereabouts on a national independent radio station..

well done lads! First of many!

The Howlin Gaels will be played on Oklahoma Radio Station KGOU FM this Saturday around 3pm CST (central Standard time) which is 9pm in the UK I think, they will be played on Jim "Hardluck" Johnson Blues show which starts around 1pm CST and he said he woudl play the Gaels at 3pm CST. His show is pretty good if you like blues and blues/rock, you can tune in from around 7pm GMT

KGOU FM in Oklahoma just played the Gaels song "Messin wi Da Man" and gave out a hello to all listeners from the Highlands (if anyone was other than me Taz and Donnie?)

That means that the Howlin Gaels, The Stormy Monday Horns and Deemac were played on a national radio staion in the USA!

Well done to all Caithness Musicians involved!
