Angus man alleged to have told officers he had boxed in the navy

AN Angus man is alleged to have called on his one-time experience as a boxer in the navy when he squared up to police at Scrabster.
Thirty-two-year-old Brian Bailey faced charges of threatening behaviour and resisting officers at Wick Sheriff Court, today.
He is accused of rolling up his sleeves and putting up his fists, in a fighting stance and punching a police vehicle, on the A9, at the Caithness port, on April 3.
Bailey, of 9 Dovewells Drive, Breechin, who was described as a seaman, was not present in court. His case was continued without plea until May 3.
