I recieved letter today stating would be getting a meter in for the chap heating system, completely forgot agreed to this as was months ago now wondering if this a good idea, who else has signed up to this and whats your opinions on it? Is it better to be metered or the standard weekly payment? Didnt make it to any of the meetings thats why asking for opinions.

we are a private house and we opted for weekly charge not metre as we have a large house and paying for what we use would be costly. It depends what size of house you have and how much you use. I prefer knowing how much to pay each week than taking the risk as its very reasonably priced at the moment so I am happy the way things are.
