Lo,

I'm trying to gather some support for the Scottish National Team. :D

Info about the project is here, it's similar to SETI (Alien Search) but I think it's much more likely to see beneficial medical results in our lifetime.

Do you guys notice any loss in performance of your PC while this is running?

I don't really notice any difference; it does use a lot of CPU but most of the time the PC isn't anywhere near maximum CPU. (Just when you are doing intensive number crunching, encoding, decoding, gaming etc)

Even when I'm running a few other things it still seems to be running ok.

Colin set this one going about a month ago and the Scotland team are doinig quite well.

We could do with a few more folk to give the team a wee boost. Colin has explained it all very well and the installation instructions are easy. I have been running it for a few weeks now with no problems. I am listed in the grid as wickwest.
