Think one of the hamsters sold to us was already pregnant.........
Fat belly(getting fatter) etc....
Until the offspring immently expected are ready to be taken back by PAH I will need to separate them after 3-4 weeks old...
So could do with a spare cage for the boys...my spare cage is getting used for Spice (the hammie sold at the same time as the origional Sugar(origional Sugar was runt of litter and even with 2 visits to vets died within 2 weeks of having her) as the new Sugar has the cage(no interaction with Spice at all as Spice was "lost" for a few nights ...could see her and she had food and water etc but couldnt catch her)...so now Sugar mark 2 is very suspectly preg....with a gestation of about 20 days give or take 3 days...
We have had her 14 days!..fat tummy ....hmmn....prefered the dead hamster senario (not nice but done before)to explain to the kids...rather than the preg/baby hammie senario we are facing at the moment!
