So the SPL clubs have said a no to the reconstruction of the Scottish football leagues.
What now for the beautiful game in Scotland?.
However well done the St Mirren and Ross Counry for listening to the fans.

Its good to see St Mirren and RC listening to the fans but its also very frustrating, as change needed to happen. I can't understand why it was an all-or-nothing proposal. Some aspects of it were better than others, so surely some sort of compromise could have been reached?

Where do you find all the fans to fill the stadiums?

See http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/b...premier-league (http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog/2010/apr/11/bundesliga-premier-league) for details : affordable pricing, excellent facilities, really welcoming and working with fans, clubs being run financially well stewarded, good players playing in real competitive leagues....just like the Highland League when you think of it eh !

My point is that Scotland has one tenth of the population of Germany, there is simply not enough football fans in the country to offer a full capacity support to each team in the country.
Germany have 56 teams in their league Structure to the point of regionalised leagues.
Scotland have 42 teams in their league structure to the point of regionalised leagues.

We simply do not have enough folk to service the amount of teams on the go, hence low crowds spread across the stadiums (Ibrox and Parkhead excepted).
