Fran's comment - "Its you that made a "serious inference" that the SAS relies on the org to inform their personnel of traffic problems, not me...and what a stupid remark for you to make. Ambulances do have radios to control you know.I certainly have done no harm to the SAS, I never mentioned them i didnt make a "serious inference" you did, so why tell me I should retract right here before any harm is done to the reputation of the service....these were your comments."

Oh dear, I seem to have upset you Fran but I really didn't make any inferences about the SAS; just suggested that you did but obviously I have read you all wrong.

I must admit I thought that your remarks could have been read as in that you have to dash here and there and know what the road conditions are like before you leave. So obviously you were just rushing to, say, keep an appointment at a garage with your car or with your dentist or something; consider me reprimanded. :(

It is a compliment to the org that you look to them for up to date conditions before travelling (they are wonderful I know).

I was merely pointing out that there are dedicated phonelines for such but maybe I should look for a smiley with tongue in cheek.

Cheers Fran, and carry on with what you do; you do a good service for the community and you are appreciated. :o)

Your comments were"From your avatar people might think that you drive an ambulance and thus giving the impression that the SAS relies on the org to inform their personnel of travel problems when there is an emergency.
This is a very serious inference and one you should retract right here before any harm is done to the reputation of the SAS"
I made no inference on this at all, and never even mentioned the SAS.As I said peoples avatar does not show their employment. You dont know if I drive an ambulance or not. and yes, im quite often on my computer and on the org when i have to dash off.
I look forward to seeing your avatar, in fact i cant wait.
Best wishes.Fran

I didn't realise there was an apology in the above post :) I like you believe the intial post was deadly serious and it got such a backlash Torvaig tried to cover it up, not before dishing out bad rep on people like its going to make a difference!

Jeemag, your post makes me understand that you believe I bad repped someone. I haven't, but I have good repped some people who's posts I do approve of (which is what the system is there for).

I have not and do not intend to curry favour with anyone. Also, as you said in your bad rep to me, I am not being childish!

Now that is all I have to say on this matter; the org has been involved in enough mud slinging lately and I do not intend to prolong this thread any further. I obviously can't talk for anyone else; it may even be interesting.
