Teenager remanded after house-breaking charges

A THURSO teenager is to stand trial on house breaking charges.
Dominic Long, 17, pleaded not guilty when he appeared from custody at Wick Sheriff Court yesterday and was remanded in custody.
Long, of Ormlie Crescent, Thurso, is alleged to have stolen computer and X-box, Freeview box, mobile phones trainers, Sat-nav and a single black shoe, and cash after breaking into premises in the town, between March 27 and 30, while on bail.
He will stand trial on May 1.

Alleged to have kicked and punched victim

A WICK man is facing charges of assault and abusive and threatening.
Liam Robertson, 17, appeared from custody and pleaded not guilty.
The charges allege that he repeatedly punched Tyler Campbell causing him to fall to the floor and repeatedly kicked him on the head to his severe injury. Robertson of Bremner’s Walk, Wick further denies punching Latieshia Bremner and behaving in a threatening or abusive manner while intoxicated, and on bail.
The offences are alleged to have occurred on March 30, at the accused’s home in Bremner’s Walk, Wick.
Robertson pleaded not guilty and was granted bail, pending his trial on July 24. He will be subject to a 7pm-7am curfew, meantime.
