A9 road conditions

Unfortunatley have to travel to Inverness tommorrow. I wouldnt go if I did not have to but am putting kids back for school on Monday. So if anyone knows what the conditions are like, it would be nice to know.
Obviously if its bad I won't go.

My father in law travelled up today from Inverness and said that he had no problems, more or less like it has been here today, showers but not really lying. I don't know what the overnight forecast is though. Hope this helps. Have a safe trip if you do go.

I will go on train if I have to, but it would take nearly 10 hours a couple of that hours in Inverness. I would end up spending loads in the shops !

check the above site before you set off, It gives warnings about road conditions including roadworks and weather warnings

Roads were black all the way down. The odd snow shower on the way back. Thanks
