Frequently we see terms like FWIW INMHO LMOA

BTW I have nothing against some of these abbreviations except there is no reference that i can use to look them up, so can we all post them here so i don't get the subtle meaning of the posts wrong?

ATM = At the moment

Add = address
Addy = address

It's just a hangover from the old days of the internet when everyone knew each other
by their first names and bandwidth was limited.

We had to make our own emoticons too :-)

Yes you are right - I cant explain what it means as i will get barred but I think it is quite descriptive and not meant to be applied to anyone in particular
