I can't find the thread on historical places, etc. ?

Well, this is the valley of the White Horse in Oxfordshire

Wonderful picture Isis..but did you walk up to the horse? We found it was a fantastic sight from the bottom of the hill but up close got totally confused!

Yes we walked up to the castle site and then accross to the Horse.

You're right, it doesn't look like anything when you are up there, this was the best angle I could get of it.
